FSEA formed Advocacy committees

On May 21st FSEA hold a meeting with its members to form committees for Advocacy activity supported by the project “A stronger voice for Small Businesses” financed by the United States Department of State.

FSEA executive team have registered all members constarings in doing business in Moldova. One of the areas of cosbtraigns raised by the members were related to Labour, Tax, Customs and financial regulations. Another big issue for SME’s is the unfair competition and transparency.

Based on that were formed four advocacy committees:

The Labor Relations and Reform Committee, focused on legal regulations and policies related to labour relations.
The Tax, Financial and Customs Committee, focused on taxation system, fiscal code, customs regulations and other issues related to commercial activity.

The Transparency Committee, focused in advocating for bureaucratic processes that are more transparent and streamlined.

The Unfair Competition Committee, focused on the effects of corruption and unequal application of the law on creating an unbalanced marketplace

During the next 12 months FSEA will build initiatives that affect its members and SME’s in general, advocating for a better business environment so small business can develop and grow in Moldova.
